How to tell it’s Friday without a calendar
The office gives it away.
- Half the desks are empty, which is why everyone at the other half came in on a Friday.
- Emails start signing off with “have a good weekend” around lunchtime.
- Someone has booked a meeting for 5 pm anyway.
- Anything due EOW is now due today.
Once it’s Friday
Only 16% of the week’s meetings land on a Friday. Friday lasts until midnight, but the working part ends at 5 pm. Our countdown to 5pm shows how much of it is left. If you finish at a different hour, the work day countdown has a clock for that too.
