What data Corpo Mode keeps
Who is responsible
Black Sky, Triq It-Tamar, Qawra, St Paul's Bay, Malta, runs this site and decides what happens to the data on this page. Email [email protected] with any question about it or to use your rights.
What our server logs
Every page you open sends our server your IP address, the page’s address, the page you came from and your browser type. We log these to deliver the site and keep it secure. That’s our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. We delete these logs after 30 days.
Cloudflare delivers the site for us and sees the same details on the way through. It acts as our processor under its data processing terms, which also cover sending data outside the EU.
What the game server keeps
To run the games and the leaderboard, our game server keeps your round results and shift totals, and the badge nickname and team code if you add them. None of it carries your name, IP address or a cookie. Badge names show on that day’s leaderboard, so use a nickname. The sends us what you write, and we never publish it.
Before a note is stored, Google reCAPTCHA checks it isn’t spam. For that check Google gets your IP address and details about your browser, under Google’s privacy policy. That’s our legitimate interest in keeping spam out.
Badge names rest on your consent, under Article 6(1)(a), and emptying your badge withdraws it. The rest is our legitimate interest in running the games.
How long the game server keeps it
Results, shift totals, badge names and team codes for 30 days, feedback for 90 days. Backups keep a copy for up to a week longer.
New game pings
If you turn pings on, the game server keeps the push address your browser gives it and sends one message for each new game through your browser’s push service. Turn them off and the address is deleted. Pings rest on your consent.
What stays on your device
We set no cookies. Opening the feedback form loads Google reCAPTCHA, which sets one cookie of its own, _GRECAPTCHA, for its spam check. Your scores, settings and progress stay in your browser’s local storage. Only what’s described above leaves your device. To delete it, clear this site’s data in your browser’s settings.
What we don’t load
Every font, image and script comes from this site, except Google reCAPTCHA on the feedback form. There are no analytics, ads, social media buttons or embedded videos, and nothing here makes automated decisions about you. The feedback form and the name on your badge are the only places where what you type is sent.
Your data rights
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct it, delete it or limit how we use it. We keep no names, so tell us your badge nickname and the day, your feedback’s words, or your IP address and when you visited. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Your right to object
You can object to our use of your data to run and secure the site. We then stop, unless we have compelling grounds or need it for a legal claim.
Complaints
You can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work. Ours is the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta.
