Your personnel file

Your job title, pizza slices, time card and best scores, as the games saved them in this browser.

This file is filled in from what this browser has kept, and reading that takes JavaScript. Nothing on this page leaves your device.

How the personnel file is kept

Where the file comes from

Every game here saves your scores in your browser’s local storage. This page builds your file from those saves. There’s no account, and nothing gets sent anywhere. A different browser or device starts a file of its own.

Pizza slices and job titles

Slices come only from the daily shift that the leaderboard ranks. Each shift game pays for its daily round by grade:

Grade on the daily roundPizza slices
Performance plan0
Needs improvement1
Meets expectations2
Exceeds expectations3

Punch every game on the shift and you get 3 more slices, once a day. Solo rounds and the daily rounds of other games pay nothing. Play the shift steadily and the first new titles come within days. The top job takes about a quarter.

The weekly review

Each Friday, the week’s review shows up in this file. It lists your days clocked in, the slices you earned that week and your title, with a note from HR. That review stays until the next Friday. A week with no day clocked in gets no review.

Days clocked in and PTO

A daily round on a weekday clocks you in. Weekend rounds count as overtime and never end a run.

Clock in on all five weekdays of a week and you earn a PTO day. You can hold two at most. When you miss a weekday, a PTO day covers it and your run carries on.

Service milestones come at 5, 20, 60, 120 and 250 days clocked in. Your file shows the highest one you’ve reached and the next one up.

Back from leave

If you lose a run of 20 days or more, HR offers it back once, on the day you clock in again. Clear the full shift that day and on the next two working days, and HR adds the old count back. If one of those three days passes without a full shift, the offer is gone.

The quarterly review

Every 60 days clocked in, this file gets a quarterly review. It counts your days and the slices you earned over the quarter. HR also gives you a role for what you did most, such as First one in or Overtime regular.

Commendations

Every commendation is worked out from what the games already save, and each one shows its rule. Three of them can drop off when a newer save replaces the one they came from:

  • Clean sheet comes from the last daily round of each multiple-choice game.
  • Bingo goes by your last buzzword bingo card.
  • Perfect attendance stays while your latest week on the time card is full, or while you still have a PTO day.

Clearing the file

The privacy page lists every entry behind this file, and one button there deletes them all. After that you’re an Intern again. Your slices, days clocked in, PTO days and best scores all start over.

Questions about your personnel file

Where is my personnel file stored?

In your browser's local storage, on this device. This page reads it from there and sends none of it anywhere.

Why is my personnel file empty?

You haven't finished anything in this browser yet, or its storage was cleared. A private window starts with an empty file and forgets it once you close the last private tab.

Can I move my personnel file to another device?

No. There's no account and no sync, so each browser keeps its own file. Your phone and your work laptop have separate careers.

How do I get promoted faster?

Work the day's shift well. A shift game's daily round graded Exceeds expectations earns 3 pizza slices, and punching every game on the shift adds 3 more. Weekend shifts count too. Other games' dailies and solo rounds earn none.
